The hand moves so fast now we’re all so used to digital devices that I’m sure a lot of the time the hand cllcks almost automatically when a hig-vis tag flashes up on screen. And it doesn’t matter if you don’t even read the piece, connecting to it is all the site owners want. More licks, more advertisers will use your site. Not sure what we can do, except be a lot more discriminating.

Clickbaiting is like a stupid preview that teases you into spending 10$ for a movie seat to watch something that had all the good parts in the preview. Research everything before you react. (I’d have left a comment on your weebly blog, but well….weebly isn’t as user friendly as it pretends. After more than 2 years, I finally ditched my weebly blog. It still exists, but I don’t go there much!)

It’s creating artificial inflation of information and diluting out true content producers making it seemingly inseparable from the regular audience.

The only way to intelligently vet and filter the pretentious guru from the true sages is to use an algorithm that can comprehend and classify the originality of the materials vs the abundant usage of buzz words and re-telling the obvious.
